What data do we collect from you and why?

- MailChimp

When you read our newsletter, we also collect certain statistics in MailChimp. More specifically, this involves information about your browser type, unique identifier and the number of times you open the newsletter and/or click on a link. We use this data to improve our newsletter or to correctly analyze any problems.

Contact information

- Contact Us form

When you fill out the contact form on our website, we keep track of the information you enter. We securely store your first name, last name, any phone number, email address, message, IP address and the time of sending. This is necessary for us to be able to contact you correctly.

To filter submissions to our contact forms for spam, we use Akismet (Automattic). Akismet checks your message, your email address and your IP address for spam and temporarily stores this data on secure servers in the EU and the US. You can find their privacy policy here.

- Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your first name and email address. We need this information to be able to send you the newsletter. Your email address is stored securely with Mailchimp. Mailchimp secures your data, is part of a certified EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and therefore respects your privacy. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time.


If you are a customer of ours, we also store your contact and billing information. These data are necessary for a smooth cooperation.

- With whom do we share your data?

As we mentioned above, we use processors who are responsible for processing personal data on behalf of and who ensure the proper technical functioning of the website (data transmission). These processors guarantee your privacy via a processing agreement that we enter into with them.

In addition to the processors, only Camille Belgium uses your data. We therefore do not share your data with third parties.

- How do we protect your data?

Camille Belgium attaches great importance to protecting your personal data and has therefore taken the necessary technical and organizational measures. We use a secure connection and store your data in a secure database. In this way, we try to take the necessary measures to prevent theft, loss or unauthorized access.
